Botulinum toxin injection training with Gediminas Samulėnas

This training is focused on real-life situations that aesthetic medicine specialists encounter. In the theoretical part, participants will strengthen their knowledge of facial anatomy, facial muscle activity, dose planning, and prevention of complications. In the practical part, botulinum injections will be demonstrated and performed in the main facial areas, learning the correct technique and individual adaptation to the patient's needs.

Training program (4 hours)

Part 1 – Theory: Botulinum Toxin Basics

• Mechanism of action of botulinum toxin in aesthetic medicine

• Indications and contraindications

• Patient consultation, expectation management and procedure planning

• Dosage principles and preparation of the preparation

• Facial anatomy: facial muscles and danger zones

Part 2 – Injection Techniques and Safety

• Injection depth, angle, points and symmetry control

• Common mistakes and how to avoid them

• Prevention, recognition and initial management of complications

• Post-procedure recommendations for the patient

Part 3 – Practice: Working with the Key Zones

• Glabella (interocular folds)

• Forehead (horizontal wrinkles)

• Corners of the eyes ("crow's feet")

• Eyebrow position correction and facial balance

• Individual selection of zones according to the patient's facial expressions
