Hyaluronic filler TEOSYAL RHA® 3 – 2x1ml

Each box contains two pre-filled RHA® 3 syringes. Each syringe also contains two sterile 27G ½ needles and two traceability labels (one for the patient and one for the physician to keep in the patient’s medical record). The volume of gel in each syringe is indicated on the carton and on the syringe itself.

Hyaluronic acid is the main constituent of the extracellular matrix of the dermis. It is a true molecular “sponge” whose helical structure allows it to absorb up to a thousand times more water than its own weight. It is widely distributed in skin tissues and moisturizes the skin, but its amount decreases with age.

As skin becomes thinner and more fragile, the first lines of skin breakdown appear. RHA® 3 creates volume that corrects wrinkles, skin depressions and restores skin hydration. It can also add volume to the lips and/or improve their contour.

RHA® 3 is a biodegradable implant that gradually dissolves over time. The expected duration of RHA® 3 is 12 to 18 months. The duration of treatment depends on several factors, including skin type, severity of the wrinkle being treated, injection site, volume injected, patient physiology and lifestyle. The injecting specialist will determine if an additional correction procedure may be necessary for optimal results.

Indications

Therapeutic indications for RHA® 3:
Reconstructive surgery, filling skin depressions caused by scars, as well as restoring volume lost due to lipoatrophy in patients undergoing HIV treatment.

Aesthetic indications for RHA® 3:
TEOSYAL RHA® 3 is intended for the correction of deep facial wrinkles and deep skin folds, as well as for volume enhancement in the midface (nasolabial folds, cheeks, nasolabial folds), lower face contouring (chin, jawline) and perioral area (lips, including philtrum, marionette lines, corners of the mouth).

Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic used to reduce the sensation of pain.
